Cursor pricing

Checked Oct 2026

In short: Cursor has a free plan. Paid plans start at $8/mo (Plus), but Plus includes only Grok models. Third-party models need Premium ($30/mo) or higher, and are billed separately at API list price. [19]

All figures come from Cursor's official pricing page, checked 2026-10-19. Prices exclude taxes and are subject to change.

Is Cursor worth it?

Not enough evidence: our cited sources don't support a verdict here. We haven't tested it hands-on. Builders credit its tab completion and repo-aware multi-file edits, but say it still breaks code without small tasks and review. [4] [5]

Compared with Windsurf

Windsurf Pro is $20/mo on its official pricing page. Cursor Plus is cheaper at $8, but it's limited to Grok models. See Cursor vs Windsurf.
